The new issue of MOJO magazine features an article on the Wu-Tang Clan ....

This following snippet from the article is relative to Dhani and his contribution on 'The Heart Gently Weeps' track ... There seems to have been some animosity as to which track from their album, ' 8 Diagrams' would make the best single...

In October 2007, RZA calls MOJO from Toronto, where he's finishing final mixes. One track in particular has got him animated. My Heart Gently Weeps is based on George Harrison's While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and features Erykah Badu, John Frusciante, and Harrison's son Dhani. The late Beatle's widow Olivia had to personally approve the song before it could be released. She found Raekwon's, Ghost Face's and Meth's verses (about how drug addiction rips families apart) harsh, but gave the track her blessing. RZA knows it shoud be 8 Diagrams' first single but things are never straightforward with the Clan.

"It's hard to get Wu-Tang to do those kind of singles" RZA admits. "Meth is with it, Ghost say he don't know and Rarkwon is saying no. He wants the single to be a song called Take It Back, which is Raekwon, Ghost, Deck and U-God just lyrically killin it, and the hook doesn't happen 'til two minutes into the song. I love it. It sounds dope but Heart Gently Weeps is a F**kin' smash! It's an event!"
